I think it sounds kinda cool... and I am not an Anime fan, but did get bit by the Death Note bug last year (the books) and thought it was wicked awesome. And since they were made by the same that will make the supernatural animes I think there is a good chance this might just be wicked cool with a lot more gore (instead of CW restrictions  )
